We are excited to announce that the
headquarters offices of The Wellness Community and
Gilda's Club Worldwide have finalized plans to become
one combined organization—"Cancer Support
Community." The Cancer Support Community will
be the largest provider of a professionally-led network
of cancer support services worldwide, and will continue
to meet the needs of people touched by cancer by offering
innovative and comprehensive support programs. Our
common history and commitment to the cancer community
is what brought us together. What has been created
is a larger stronger, and more global network that
will bring the highest quality cancer support to the
millions of people touched by cancer.
The Wellness Community - Central Indiana
is proud to be part of this new organization that
will continue to help people live better by empowering
them to identify and address their individual needs
and to connect them to supportive communities. This
new organization brings more than 50 global affiliates
together to ensure no one faces cancer alone.
In the future months, you will begin
to see the new logo replace our Wellness Community
logo. But rest assured we are still going to provide
free programs to people affected by cancer. In essence,
as an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, we
will be the same Wellness Community that you know
and love, but with access to the new, innovative resources
and programs the Cancer Support Community is dedicated
to developing.
