Cancer Support
Community Central Indiana is thrilled
to be a charity of choice for the 2012
Mickey's Camp for Women.
Mickey's
Camp, founded by Mickey & Janie Maurer
is a great way for civic minded community
leaders to take a few days away from the
office and immerse themselves in camp
activities like hiking and crafts...and
manicures and massages! The best part
of camp is that roughly two-thirds of
the camp fee can come back to Cancer Support
Community! For more information visit:

Cancer Support Community makes a difference
in the lives of hundreds of people affected
by cancer each year. All of our life-changing
programs are available at no cost to people
dealing with cancer. We are able to provide
a comprehensive program of psycho-social and
emotional support, education, networking, and
mind/body wellness through the
strong partnerships we have with corporations
and organizations in the community. Thank you
to our partners who join us in making a difference!

SPOTLIGHT
T
We
are grateful for the recent $25,000 grant from
The Indianapolis Foundation, an affiliate of
Central Indiana Community Foundation. The Indianapolis
Foundation is a community foundation supported
by gifts and bequests from a variety of donors.
It was created in 1916 to: ensure that the quality
of life in Marion County continuously improves;
help where needs are greatest and the benefits
to our community are most substantial; and provide
public-spirited donors a vehicle for using their
gifts in the best possible way now and in the
future as conditions in our community inevitably
change.
